well, what kind of car do you have. Install a good intake/exhaust setup. if you dont allready have one

You could do the Thottle body mod listed in the FAQ section.. that will get you 1-2 HP in the upper Rpms. and slightly better response. You can do alot of things to make an Rx-7 faster.

just keep asking. and for god sake. stop racing Crx's tell him to fallow you around a twisty/windy rd. than see if he can beat you. The Rx-7 isnt a drag car (no offense to whoever drags their car)

It was designed to be the ultimate Road car. best handling/braking/looks you could get in the 80's

and to this day still looks like a mid 90's sports car

P.S the Rx-7 is not a car, it's the best car/engine every designed.

yo tell em markus..but i beat alot of hondas around my hood and theyre pretty hooked up and my car is automatic and i take em. i floor it and the car hits 6,100 RPM and it shifts and they dont catch me. we did thru trafik at 110mph its feels good. I got whipped by a vr6 with turbo.

I dont like draggin my car froma stop. I rather be driving at 50 then taking off. its much easier on the engine and trannny

The reason he pulled on you at first was prolly because he has a little more low end torque. NA rx7s have no torque what so ever.

yup and the weight advantage. I've had 5 CRX's both 1st and 2nd gen. I think the NA RX7's need to get moving before they can do anything where as the CRX's (si's at least) can take off pretty good just by dumping at higher rpm... and don't forget, you never know what is under the hood.. swaps are pretty simple on those cars.

crx's are much lighter, so they obviously would beat you off the line, plus rotaries suck down low. I bet even my 1984 rabbit GTI would beat my GTUs off the line
