appearentley we have people who like to just guess if it will work just using one box. but for the people who have actually installed a MSD 6 AL box and does no differnece from the stock ignitors. I'm telling you you would have to run 2-3 boxes for it to be functional. You just can't run 1 box for the leading and forget about he trailing
sure you can... CDI box how to

I wouldn't.. but you can. One box for the leading coils and one box for each trailing coil if you wanted everything hooked up.

don't get the 6al or the btm one, you can't use the funtions of either on a rotary. stick to the basic (and cheaper) 6a. or look at a crane hi 6.

the jacops is a rip off. 2 or 3x more $ then the 6a and no different.

one on the leading works good. if you are reaching 500+ hp you might want 2 more on the trailings.

I have a crane hi 6 on mine

I'm pretty sure I'm a little short of 500 HP at this point.

Thanks for the informed advice. It does seem as though there are two schools of thought on this issue. Some say the stock system is fine, others say you can pick up some power and efficiency by adding MSD.

To me it seems pretty obvious that multiple sparks would burn the mixture better, especially since the rotary's combustion chamber is so elongated.

Sounds like we need to do some dyno runs, before and after.
