Ive got a 86 GXL with maroon interior, i want to mix some black in with it but what do you guys think i should paint my car.... it needs a new coat pretty soon, oh yea right now it is a dark grey.

 

a white or dark grey would work, but black would look best IMO, i would stay away from the reds, blues, yellows, etc.. but thats just my opinion. i have an 88 GXL with a blue interior and i cant even see it working really well with any other color except the stock silver it came in or another shade of a lighter silver

 

how about cherry black mica? 28w is the paint code

 

Mine was the ugly royal maroon color with grey int and went with the mazda black (not the brilliant black) and even if you have blue int it wouldnt look too bad unless the blue int is in really crappy contition
