Pulled out on the highway on the way to dinner for my B-Day. Accelerating in 3rd gear, car cut off and lost all electrical power. The only thing that works are the headlights. Had car towed home, just got back in from checking/changing Main 80A fuse. No luck. Ihave headlights and nothing else. I will need to troubleshoot tomorrow. Any ideas?

Do these cars have a fusible link? Could be a flaky connection at the battery?

FOUND IT!!!!!!!!

Connector X-23, Main to front harness connection, had rubbed raw against the brake line, All the plastic around the connector flowed into it. Car now starts. I have to go splice in new connectors
