ok sooo i got my car back from the shop last fri. they had to replace the door skin and fix the quarter and fender and paint a lot because my dad backed all down the side of the car. so today (tues) this girl backed into my car and now on the same side (left) the fender will have to be replaced and the fender, bumper and light cover will have to be repaired and painted. this is the 3rd time to the body shop this year. last winter i rearended someone and they had to replace the hood, fix the bumper and paint the hood, bumper and fenders. ahhhhhhh!!! the damge this time isnt so bad but if you guys really want pics i can post em up.

it wasnt parked. i was in a hurry to get to cover to put my top up bc it was raining. as i was leaving the parking lot the girl in front of me started to go but then didnt but was half in the road so i had already moved up a little bc i thought she was gonna go but then she didnt and she was in the road so she wanted to back up. i saw her back up lights come on and tried to put it in reverse but i missed reverse and put it in park and floored it but nothing happened, imagine that. by then she had already hit me. moral of the story... look before backing.

Where?

On a side note .. my brother had an Mr2 first gen, and he crashed the front like a week after he bought it.. then he blew his engine a month later.. then he got it running again and crashed the front again.. Fixed that.. then somebody rear ended the damn car. so he fixed that... got it painted.. then like 2 weeks later the car got t-boned at an intersection.. he finally gave up on it. RIP Mr. 2

door skins are somewhere around $300, the whole door lists for like $900. Skin is harder to do, whole door is a bit easier.
