Make sure you tell them it's a recall and not a lifetime warranty. The first dealership I went to looked at me like I was nuts when I asked to have them fixed free. The dealership I currently use got them taken care of quickly. They even gave me new moldings at cost.

There is a website you can go to and find recalls. I printed mine out and took it with me. I am glad I did they tried to turn me away. They gave me attitude about my printout and said it didn't mean a thing unless they have it in their system but it made them look. I felt like they were not even going to bother to look unless I had that printout.
