87unkown, no marking, 15"rims, disc all around, pw windows, 158k, N1single exhaust, BONEZ rp and intake, Jacobbs 8mm wire. And soon to have a stage II streetport, light weight flywheel, e-fan, BUDDY CLUB P1 racing rims, and a sexy stlye body kit. then dont know where to go after that besides a turbo II

New for me, 87 rx7 se, no mods, rebuilt transmission, runs okay, eventually want to turn it into a race car. (After grad school, 2 or 3 years). Interesting car buying story, I work as a personal trainer in DC, client mentioned she had an old rx7 that was her husband's to sell. Traded it and repairs for training. Her ex-husband is Joe Stiglitz, who just won the Nobel Prize for economics. He was also Clinton's chief economic advisor. Engine was okay, body beat up but fairly rust free, no ac or power steering on car, had bearings replaced on tranny, new clutch, engine flush, and radiator flush. Will any performance tires fit on the stock 14 inch rims? Not ready to do the five lug conversion, but want to autocross.

thanks

Welcome aboard. I'm about 2.5 hours from DC...I'm close to Fredericksburg if you know where thats at.

As for your tires, just get the right size and any tire can fit...I'd look into a 205/65 size tire for the 14" wheel...the 14s are 6.5" wide stock and a 205 is max on them...I've got my old 14" set behind my house now...haven't decided what to do w/ em, lol...

also have 98 acura gsr, and 2002 wrx wagon. all fun cars, wrx most power, gsr best aftermarket radio, and rx7 fun to drive because my wife won't yell at me if I beat this one up. This has a lot more torque than the acura, so feels faster without having to rev the hell out of the engine. GSR faster, but you have to drive it like you hate it.

Hey good to see RX7 scene people here. I hadn't been there for long, but was good while it lasted. Here seems to get better and better though so that's something. Anyway, I have 86 GTR savanna 13b turbo. Which would be a T2 to you guys (I don't know why all the specs are different in different countries) . Just been stage 2'd, turbo rebuilt, K&N, 3 inch exhaust. Just putting it back together now. Wish me luck.

We should have all the Rx7scene members, lol...I'm just not sure if they have all realized the merger yet though.
