I was reading in the step by step about the ATF cleaning. I have heard of it but it doesn't say how much to use. if anyone knows please let me know. thanks

How much to use is really up to you. Its sort of a trial and error..a good place to start is put about 1/4 of a quart bottle in each housing...spin the motor and let it sit....it really shouldn't take all that much, it just depends on how much saturation you want...but don't put the entire quart in one housing, lol...it'll take a while to get the motor start and you will be having LOTS of smoke...I know this for a fact https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

lol, i put 1/2 qt in each housing! yea it started to pout out then i slapped the plugs in real quick and worked great! don't worry, too much won't do **** just make sure u get new plugs and 02 sensor... atleast it didn't do anything bad to my car :p

and i just replaced my o2 sensor last week, guess i will have to get another one. my next question is does it really work, i mean I have about 160,000 on it now, and it is starting to smoke when i start it up.

Does the **** really work.

and flooding what do i look for on this car tofix the problem.

thanks guys and any ladys too

The ATF should regain some compression that your motor may have lossed over time. Also, you probably won't need a new O2 sensor..just new plugs. If you have an old set of spark plugs, use them...because this will foul the plugs up. As far as clearing up the smoking...this may help a little, but the motors smoke because of oil or coolant leaking through, not because of compression. As for the flooding, this is a typical problem of Rx7s with age. A set of new or professionally cleaned injectors should fix that problem.
