It's a waste of time to lower it. You'll have to put it back up eventually.[/quote]

doesn't that defeat the purpose of having a convertible

Yes, but you have the Targa right? I think the targa tops are a great idea. When its nice you can pop it out and put it back in without too much stress. If I had a vert I would probably never put the top down either, just remove the targa. The top on my Jeep has never leaked for the 5 years that I have owned it. I had an 84 Mustang with T-tops in high school, and that ******* thing leaked like a siv. I don't know if I would ever get a car with T-tops again.

Removing the targa top is more work than just lowering the top. I lower the top if I'm in the car with my GF, but when I'm by myself I wouldn't bother.

Funny, mine doesnt leak on the passenger side anymore. I got to get my windshield leak fixed though, now all I get is a small puddle behind the drivers seat, then again I havent driven the car in the puring rain in a looooooong time. Maybe you dont need a coupe, just something else to drive and only drive the convertible when its nice out. And that Targa is more work to take off on its own!

I like to drive my car every day. That's why I have it...to drive it. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png
