use more discretion for this type of thing, besides what are you going to do

about the rolling smog check guys?

needa86NAat 03-10-2003 10:09 AM

boy your full of USEFUL info.....

Rob x-7 03-10-2003 10:21 AM

you never answered the question as to what you are going to

do about the rolling smog checks?

And im the one of the mods who try to keep this board and the discussions

clean, I know it may not seem like a big deal to you asking if anyone

knows how you can cheat your smog inspection, but it is.

Good luck anyhow, who would help a newbie cheat a state run smog check?

Why dont you post in the Parts Wanted section asking for a air pump and stock mufflers, they would probably cost you less then $100 and at least your car will be legal, EVEN if you did find some idiot to pass your car, he would probably charge you more then if you just made the car legal.

j9fd3s 03-10-2003 10:50 AM

yeah you need to find a way to make the car legal, ca is going to dyno testing, since those are very expensive there arent going to be a lot of them. find a good used airpump and get a new cat and you dont have to worry about it

Rob x-7 03-10-2003 10:52 AM

im sure you can handle it being as how you build 2000 hp engines with your 231 piece craftsmen tool set.

The point is do you really expect someone to post in a public forum the name and address of a business that will break the law for you? How much do you suppose the fine is for that business? They will be so happy that someone pointed you their way https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...>/rolleyes.gif

Rob x-7 03-10-2003 10:55 AM

the real point is that for a stock car he should just get the thing street legal

there are plenty of people in different parts of the country who remove the stuff he needs and he can buy it cheap and not have to worry about it ever again.

needa86NAat 03-10-2003 11:02 AM

Look none of you idiots are from CA or in it so your opinion is irrealivent.....BTW 231 tool set is the biggest that comes in its own case... I also own full snap on rollaway....*******

Rob x-7 03-10-2003 11:09 AM

before I lock this useless thread, I have to ask, how old are you?

You have a snap on rollaway full of tools, but you dont know anyone to pass the car, and you cant just afford to make it smog legal?

A snap on roll away full of tools is $12,000 min.

i am from california. this is the wrong place to ask about illegal smogs. the penalty if you are caught, is jail for the smog guy, these things arent done in public

Yeah I am from CA too, and this sort of thing is not for public discussion.. Try your local tuner shops.. This sort of info is mainly by word of mouth..

j9fd3s 03-10-2003 11:37 AM

My dad bought them many years ago.. when he was a foreman for some big trucking company.. I know he spent over 10k on all his tools.. But pretty soon I am gonna have to buy new ones, cuz we are gonna send these to central america to have on our our land over there..

j9fd3s 03-10-2003 12:25 PM

mike

75 Repu 03-10-2003 12:32 PM

Yeah, it's cool, cuz the tool boxes were made of thicker guage steel back then, so you can tell it is an old one.. I have lots of stuff I don't even know how to use..

j9fd3s 03-10-2003 01:01 PM
