My "stock" anti-theft system keeps going in and out. Ya know how if you have the door(s) open the security light flashes and the interior lights come on? Well, it only does that some of the time but mostly just doesn't come on at all. You think it's something simple like a loose fuse or is my wiring fucked? Would a diagnostic check solve the problem? It's just a pain in the *** that I'd like to get fixed eventually.

I assume you mean the interior lights don't come on all the time, and the security system doesn't always enable.



The door switches in the lower rear corner of the door-well get corroded & stop working so well after a while. Remove them, clean them, make sure they have a solid ground, and it should start working properly again.
