Thumbs up

Wutz up everyone just wanted to ask a question, what do u all think about the aluminum flywheels, r they ok for daily street driving, i know it'll be a harsh ride but will it break quick or will it last, cause im also gonna put a 6-pad racing disk wit no springs and a racing pressure plate, thanx!!!

I have the Racing Beat lightweight flywheel and an Act S/S clutch on my N/A, which is my daily driver. It's a great setup.

They are great for track or autocrossing but not for drag racing.

Actually it isnt too bad for drag racing. I had a SR Motorsports 9.5# one in my TII with an Act Street Stip Clutch and Pressure plate and cut a 13.08 with 10 lbs. of boost and 250RWHP.

I will tell you now that you 6 puck is going to be a bitch on the street couple that with the low inertia of the flywheel and you will have to really pay attention to what your doing in traffic. I switched to 6 puck sprung clutch and an ACT extreme Pressure Plate it really screwed up my launches. But it holds strong I guess its a worthwhile tradeoff.

6 pucks aren't bad .

Heres a little bit of info. ACT is releasing thier flywheels for the FC's October, 15. They have a 13.7 and 9.9. The 13.7 sells for $204 and the 9.9 is around $240. THese prices are from HorsePowerFreaks (had them check when they screwd up my clutch order). Check out ACT's website also.
