I'm running a straight 3" exhaust and my air pump has not yet been taken off. The hose ends in the engine compartment, so, every time I let off the throttle, there is this sick whistling hiss sound. My question is, is there any way to tamper with the air pump, either by pluggin' a vac valve or something, to get it to direct to the silencer all the time? I do plan on removing the air pump all together, but need the time to take it to my friends shop and fab a block off plate. Thanks for the input.

Block off plate for what? Man its been so long since I had that crap. I know there is one on the cat. Is the other one the one above the water outlet for the turbo on the LIM? I dont remember.

You could always take the belt off.
