So a couple months ago I got one of These kind of air filters. Today I pulled off the filter to do some work and the inside of the intake hose has dust in it. I have been driving around in the mountians recently and the filter has been relocated to under the headlight but I still expected it to work better than that. What kind of high flow filters actually filter? Would one of These work better? I'm limited for space since the filter is under the headlight as I said but I want something that works.

Thanks

Andy

The K&N filter that I use has to be oiled before it is effective. If your filter is dry, you can probably increase its efficiency dramatically by applying some K&N filter oil. K&N filter kits are available at Advance Auto or online.

the k&n is good if you dont mind oiling it. if you're lazy like me, get an aem dryflow cone filter.
