Mines corooked as all hell, and it works fine; BUT, I have had it get stuck open because of the way it is(vertical). As long as its horizontal, its fine.

I have noticed that my engine likes the afm at about 20 degrees inclined with the flap downward. I experimented with level, flap up, and flap down orientations and found that the engine's running characteristics changed slightly with each position. It felt more drivable but with less power with the afm flap upward, stronger midrange but less drivability and mileage with the flap down, and somewhere in between with level orientation or a slight incline. I have it inclined downward to slightly richen the fuel mixture.
