A local autocross friend of mine told me to stop screwing around and slot my strut tower bolt holes so I can get some negative camber going. My car is lowered a little so it already has more negative camber than stock, but just moving in the strut tops about a half an inch made a big difference in front end traction when cornering. The car has Tokico HP shocks and dual rate Eibach springs with stock base model anti-sway bars and no additional suspension mods. I think I will put a GXL or TII rear anti-sway bar in place of the base bar to stiffen up the rear a bit more.

Here is a pic of the slotted strut tower. It looks a lot better in person!

at the shop we did that to an old *** geo metro that we couldnt align for **** (something had to be broke but the guy refused to let us dig further) so we slotted tons of little places and made his suspension really adjustable.

in the end he had a fully adjustabl;e suspension and a very well aligned car....and a nice big labor bill .

Yeah, I'd love to see the custom intake manifold that you are (still?) making. That would be so cool to make an optimized IM out of some heat resistant composite material, while using an aftermarmet ECU. More power!
