ack! my lights!

So lately i've been having this problem, where my antilock break light will come on, then almost all my electronics will go out. It used to do it every now and then and it would only last for like 2 minutes, then go back to normal. I didnt think much of it because it didnt happen very often. But tonight it happend and stayed that way. I got pulled over 2 times in a 1 mile stip of road. I didnt get any tickets cause i was trying to get home, but still! Anyways, its about 1:30am right now and i really dont feel like going out and looking at whats wrong yet, so i figure by the morning people will have responded to this and i wont have to do too much searching. This is kinda a list of what works and what doesnt. (what works: head lights, radio, car -- what doesnt: rear lights, break lights, side lights, dash lights, blinkers, seatbelts, and basicly all electronics that arent hardwired to the battery. I checked the fuses and they all looked good. So where shall i start next? It all started happening awhile ago when i took my gauge cluster out and put it back in. Think i could have a shitty connection? I plan on checking it tomorrow morning.

I'm sorry you're having trouble. I know this won't be much help, but I have found when fixing stuff like computers or cars or whatever, that it is a good idea to ask the user "What was the last thing you did to it before it starting f*cking up?"
I think you are on the right track when you mentioned the thing about you pulling the gauge cluster and putting it back. You might have angered the Automotive God of Electrical Gremlins. Try going back in there and putting things right.

Okay good point above, what did you do last? Next up, check all your grounds. Since your seatbelts work, then its not your light switch(which have problems sometimes). And since your ECU is still working you haven't lost a primary power wire. Do you have an aftermarket head-unit? If you do, did you wire it seperately? Also, helps to have a wiring diagram around.

Yea, that sucks man. But I don't have much of a doubt it has something to do with ripping the guages out and installing the turbo timer. I would pull it apart again and look for loose connections. I would just take my time and look for anything that looks fishy. Sorry this probably didn't help you much, but Good luck!

i havent figured it out for sure, but when i took out my guage cluster the middle set of wires got disconnected very easily.. like right when i touched it it fell off. Im inside getting a drink right now, so i figured i'd write it Im not sure if that was it, but so far that looks like thats what it was.

alrighty, that wasnt it. I checked the fuses and all were good. I went back and checked the connections that i was messing with when i put in the turbo timer, and everything looks ok! Im lost now.... anyone have any ideas?
