after 5 hours of strenuous labor -- stupid power steering made my life hell, the radiator didn't help either -- and its all gone. man, that compressor weighs a ton, and the condensor isn't a feather either. i have to say, that was the hardest thing i've ever done, no make that the most annoying.

oh well, its all worth it for the rewards: less weight and now i actually have access to my dipstick. that AC line was completely in the way. this might even help cool things off a little more and allow more air to the radiator, which is now buzzing, stupid air.

yeah, everone's been giving me crap, saying stuff like "it's texas, dont you want AC" to which i reply "i have no torque, AC just drains it, i wouldn't use it anyway" lol.

my mom said "what if you have a date and the girl is wearing a nice silk dress", to which i replied "well, she better have a car with AC, and if so, then she's driving."

my windows work fine, i'll take the weight savings anyway.

yeah, 5 hours. i spent waaayyyy to long on that stupid compressor, i was an act in itself fitting it in that narrow space between the wheel well, engine, and power steering pump. i also couldn't get my lower radiator tube off, so i had to leave it in while i yanked out the condensor.

oh well, its done!

Poluting my world...

Do us a favor, take all the stuff you removed and weigh it.

See what type of weight savings you really got from all that.
