I wonder what a 99spec front end would look like... I know the body lines don't match but the s6 front end doesn't even look that good on the fd, let alone the fc..

I still think this is as good as it gets while keeping with the same bodyline as the FC..

Again that color is just the primer, we're probably painting it lambo orange with gloss black rims with orange pearl in the clear on the wheels... that primer tint was the owners idea so it didn't look so much like primer... everyone in town thinks the car has been painted and it's done and we both laugh about it cause it's just a high end poly primer that's real glossy...

Thanks for the compliments on the work i did it all myself with a little help from the owner since it's my good friend. I just had the clip sitting in the shop and he wanted something custom and was like that clip would look good on my car, i was like it won't fit. He then said "you can make it fit" i was like "i guess i could" then i opened my mouth and was like i can do it in a day too... so i did but then he decided to do the rest the body work on the car and put it in primer to change the color to get the cops to leave him alone... and now here it sits not done but you get the idea... oh and i hate that probe comment might as well say a third gen looks like a probe.

and for those of you that don't visit the 1st gen forum check out my hood, i'm working on one for a 2nd gen as well.... https://www.nopistons.com/forums/ind...howtopic=38467

little curious as to what was involved in getting it to fit?

did you end up cutting and gluing it back together?

No it's just bolted into the fenders on the very top corner where new holes were drilled, then bolted in on top in two places then i had to make brackets for all the other mounting points to get it secure... the owner is a member of the forum he's just never around

what other mounting points did you make brackets for?

it bolts to the fender and the radiator support, the bottom bolts

only hold the lip and undertray.

Did it all fit with the fc bumper support or is there none there now?

Thats some nice work, reguardlessof what it looks like. Personally i do kinda like it. Although I agree it would be better with a more curvy hood and the Fd lights. Either way props to you on the work. That hood you made for the first gen is also pretty nice.
