AAaHHH!!! need to save gas!

what should i get done to my FC to help save gas? straight pipe? ignition upgrade? do u guys know anything that will help? thnx

BTW, i heard something about rotaries being more feul efficient at higher RPM's, is this true or is it BS? thnx alot guys

the first thing you should do if you haven't already is a tune up:

spark plugs

oxygen sensor

fuel filter

air filter

change fluids



If you think your cats are clogging (are they all originals?), then the pipe option should give you some HP and better gas mileage. If you need to worry about emissions/inspection, you should at least keep the main cat.

Ignition upgrades are costly for the mileage you get from them.A more direct approach is to just run a main cat and high flow muffler.I heard that rotaries burn more gas at idle and lower rpms too but not 100% sure.Either way it has to warm up at low rpms anyways.

a Crane Hi-6 ignition setup will pay for itself in about a year in better milage. no doubt that higher flowing exhaust and intake will give you more power and lots better milage

heh, fuel efficiency, easy, buy a Honda =) or at least drive your 7 like it is a honda, shift at 3K or lower, you will quickly decide that gas isn't that expensive =)
