I had ordered all my hoses from MazdaTrik, one call did it all, they sent me all the OEM hoses, and it took all but a single phone call. Get yourself some good quality ALL stainless clamps, beware alot of stainless clamps have steel for the tightning screw. **** it and order yourself a set of OEM belts while you have them on the phone.

alright,

today we looked at the car in day-light and found out it was a heater hose (one end next to the spark plugs and the other going into the firewall) so we cruised up to autozone, got the hoes and some coolant - this thing takes about 8 quarts wow - so after installing the hose, filling up the radiator (funny but i still have coolant left over) and grabing a jamoca shake we drove back. every thing was fine until i got back to the parking lot and the buzzer came on again, WTF. now im under over and around the car looking for a new leak but i cant find one. so im thinking thermostat and if not that i don't know what :dontgetit:.

unfortunately i dont have any more money to go buy a new thermostat (damn arbys) so i have to wait until my mom sends me some money. oh well stay tuned for part three of my rant.
The Blue Bomber cusses

ps i would like to upgrade to stainless or silicone coolant, vacuum, and other hoses any body got a good place to get them?

The coolant level probably dropped because you had a air pocket in the cooling system. You shoud fill it up again and run the car EASY and keep an eye on your temp. After you drive around for a while, let it cool and then check the coolant level again. You may have to repeat, but after the 2nd time, it should stabilize.

BTW - turn the heater on while driving after fill up (fan does not need to be blowing, but coolant needs to circulate through heater core)

YEA!!!

after looking at the car somemore i finally found the leak. my friend had just put the hose on wrong and it had to be adjusted (if you want something done right, you're gonna have to pay). any way i also did the thing with the heater and recirculated the the coolant so its full now (and no buzzer yea  ) but my check engine light is still on i'm thinking that all i need to do is uplug the battery for awhile and let the ecu reset but im not to sure. anyway i will have more time to play with it tomorrow

and yes arbys curly fries are the bomb

my dad was tellin me about the ecu needin time to reset. Do our ecus need time to "reset" when we modd or 7's? I though only new cars would be smart enought for that...

I am not sure on 7's but most cars have to have their check engine light reset. It doens't do it automatically. I will look up the procedure to reset the ecu tommorrow at work on Alldata. What year is yours??

well dammit,

ok, so i checked the codes for the engine light and i got 11 (intake air thermo sensor), 12 (throttle sensor), and 13 (intake manifold pressure [MAP] sensor) so this is a real pisser. i unplugged the battery for about 4 mins mabey 5 and the check engine light is still on. and also i found a very new very small leak in my upper radiator hose :madgo: so now im just gonna replace all the hoses and be done with it. but as for the codes i have no idea. can anyone help my poor wittle seven?

Burger King has the best fake food, I think.

I have a 8 month old TPS for a series 5 engine (89-91) if your interested I would get rid of for $100, costs $362 from mazda.

I don't need it now cuz I did engine swap
