i heard about this mod on the fc, do you just take the master cylinder and keep the fc proportion valve or use the 929 one.

also, what years 929 can i get it from?

The 929 MC is only a bolt-on for 89-91 Turbo brake boosters. The NA's and S4 Turbo and NA's have a different brake booster. If you buy the 929 ABS MC, it will work on ABS cars. And if you have a non-abs FC, you need the non ABS 929. But you can use the stock fc prop valve. Any 93-96 type 929 will work.

the 929 mc has a larger diameter piston. It can move more brake fluid. If you are using larger brakes (like I am, 6-piston wilwoods) the extra size increase will return a nice, stiff pedal feel. The larger mc isnt going to do much to a stock brake'd fc. The stock brakes on a gxl/turbo car are over-engineering as it is....

i did it on my stock FC brake system . I found that it gave the pedal more feel and can modulate with pedal pressure instead of pedal travel at the limits. Which to me is easier.
