88 clutch problem

i have a 1988 vert rx7 been having problem downshifting at high rpm's and to day the clutch pedal lost presur all at once all help would be greatly taken thanks

did you try checking your slave cylinder?

not sure what that is.is that the same as the clutch master cylinder?thanks for the help had a lot of trouble out of it in the last month,just had to put a new drive shaft in

most likely the clutch slave. Its connected to the masters hydraulic line and is located on the trans bellhousing, common failure. If the master and slave haven't been replaced I'd rec. Replacing them both at the same time. They're both relatively inexpensive and easy to replace.
