ok i just put this stiff in my car to fix the coolant seal but its been a week and now its goin slow .. my i normal drive fast yet i take off slower than old people now even with the gas all the way down . i try to accelerate by pressing gas and it just revs with no action just goes same speed =( ... ive been working 2 months on this car and im getting pissed off its starting to make me want a honda lol cuz this is bull... i love rotary when it works rite thats why im asking if anyone can help so i wont hate my car https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub..._DIR

i know what you mean i tried to deflood my engine and it failed and now i got a gas leak from somewhere and it wont turn over i can crank it but it fails to start and the gas smell is kinda bad so idk im getting pissed at my car too but its only been like this for a week out of the month and a half i have had it which to me is kinda sad

best bet for you is to unplug the circuit opening relay under the dash (right side of steering column) this disables the fuel pump. crank car, it'll start and run for 10-20seconds or so, then you're good |

look under the dash there is a relay clipped to the steering column, unplug it car will start.

its the pinkish fuse closest to the engine .. and your looking at the big fuses by the battery just in case u didnt know but i hav a switch for that ..... i think its the intake now cuz the problem i had was probally a loose spark plug wire and now it starts to 1k and die instantly and it only did that with the intake off so i gotta figure it out lol https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub..._DIR#>/sad.gif |

i know i need that swap lol but the pink fuse is the fuel relay thats closest to the engine thats whatthe switch was hooked to and i pull that then try starting it to release all the fuel you hav stuck in the engine then reput fuze back then it should start |

someone already told me to pull both and crank with WOT for no more then 10 secs 3 times then replace and try to start i did that but all i got was a new sound like it actually wanted to start but something was stopping it from turning over and even though i have my air intake off the tb it should stop it from turning over right? since everything is still hooked up right

check your coolant especially see if there is a lot of pressure in your coolant after you try to turn it on .... cuz to much pressure makes it not start ...so after you unflood it once you put the fuse in open the coolant filler cap and put back on if you have pressure then it should start and you also have a broken seal like me but i kinda fixed that |
well i get pressure after a few seconds and im finding trace amounts of coolant by the y pipe/end of cat and the start of same cat and then that funky line that runs to that cat has a coolant drip to it too so 3 spots in total if i redo the deflood method should i try with one rad cap off to see if it at least gets it started

i never checked by the cat lol but just every time you deflood your engine make sure you burp the coolant if you get pressure fast cuz it wont start with high pressure |
well im going to try one more time but im not wasting anymore coolant im going to run straight water since i still have my water pump to install

get a job to afford your habit if you have said job ask for more hours if more hours can be had cover others shifts or ask for a raise if you been there long enough if none of the above works then look for a 2nd job and if your car wont even crank check your main fuse if thats good then check your battery if thats good then you might be in the same boat as me and looking at a rebuild

these motors cant sit for very long without being started and not having problems which is what i see wrong with buying a used engine from japan no matter how much of a gain it is i would see a rebuild after it came here

lol your dad just doesnt need his tb cleaned he needs something better that wont explode or lose a brake carrier bolt (at least i think thats the model that had that issue for certain years at least)
