Items pictured include:

New series 5 NA front and rear housings, street ported

New series 5 turbo rotor housings, street ported

New series 5 turbo intermediate housing, street ported

New series 5 NA rotors

New hardened stationary gears

Oil metering pump drive shaft/gear removed from front cover, will be using

premix exclusively. Oil passage in front housing which provides oil flow to front cover oil metering pump passage tapped and plugged (blurry pics).

Oil injector bosses plugged with equivalent bolts

Aux port actuators removed, shaft bushings and shafts removed also, considering grinding down raised area in port runner where bushing would normally protrude, and filling in open area with jb weld or maybe have a welding shop do it.

Also purchased but not pictured are the S5 NA counterweights, new oil pump drive chain, gasket set, rotor kit, weber jets for eccentric shaft oil jet mod. More to come I think I paid mazdatrix' rent for a month or two.

I will probably pick up another NA LIM and run with aux ports later, I just want to get some dyno time with this setup and see how much of a difference it makes.

All I have to say is wow, that is a lot of new parts. That sounds like the same motor that I just built, but I didn't use all those new parts. Looks nice.:-)

How much power is your setup producing?

I am not sure yet. It runs but it isn't streetable yet. I have a leak in the intake and I think it is a warped intake manifold a guy sold me so I have to go back to my old one which is a S4 so we will see after I break it in.

the VDI extension manifold interferes with the S4 rear side housing near the clutch inspection plate. i had to grind down the cast iron a bit with a dremel to make mine fit.

hrm, I'm considering holding off on my NA buildup until I pay off some of these bills and buying ceramic apex seals and running the uprated apex seal springs. Any thoughts?
