87 FC N/A broken water pump housing...

my 87 rx7 water pump housing i believe is what its called is broke here is a picture so someone can verify dat a new water pump housing is what i need...in dis picture it is not broken i will post on dat is later if neccesary...would this be hard to change....cant wait to get my FC running again thanks....

The thing you have circled is the filler neck the pump housing is what the pump is bolted to

your lucky because i just changed mine! i blew my water pump and my heater hose while chasing after a 3000gt vr4 believe it or not i had him anyways.....it's not that hard new water pump is about $70 and all you need to do is drain your radiator...the engine block and then you take off the fan and the pulleys to get to the water pump and thats about it should take about half a day not too bad =) good luck!!

ye koo....ye well its not da thermostat housing its by the water pump...so ye happy to hear its not that hard i just need the housing can u explaing mostly step by step especially how to drain da block....i will really appreciate it so i need a waterpump housing right you know where i can get one i really only seen them on ebay and junk yards around milwaukee have zero RX7.....

It's pretty soft. In the same day I snapped off 3 bolts in 2 different water pump housings, then dropped one, which cracked it open like an egg.









And for the love of grammar, please someone edit that guy's posts. It hurts my brain.

ye dude seems like metal but soft like an egg for sure..i was bolting back everything after changing thermostat when i heard crackkkkkk and a piece fell off lol i was speechless glad to know i can fix it in half a day....anybody tell me how to drain da block....

there's like a hexegon looking bolt on the driver side motor mount bolted to the block.



botton left bolt bud.
