i got this 86 , its been sitting since 2001 , had to change the gas tank and pump . put new fuel filter and plugs .

got spark , got injector pulse and fuel preasure is over 45psi , bout it wont run i dint check compresiion yet.

if pour gas in to the intake i will run , engine sounds good bout wont stasy running on its own .



help me !! im trying to make a daily driver

by the way i got the tow truck stuck on the mud when i pick the car up, we had to pull the truck out with a jhon deere !

i trde it the subaru for this truck

Maybe it's just bad/clogged, fuel injector/injectors. It's too bad your not close I have a couple S5 sets lying around.

 

you have spark? do the injectors work?



i think id unplug the fuel pump, and pull the plugs and crank it, til its clear



odd mine started right up, and the fuel pump looked ok, yet it was parked longer?

 

got it running , the primary injector were clog ,

it was park sice 2001, it smoke alot bout now its running good.



now i have to do brakes and maybe a clutch job

yeah the clutch worked on mine (suprised!) but i did have to do the brake master.



i just flushed out the cooling system, YUCK....

 

MY cooling system look good just added antifree , bleed the brakes .

just got back from the gas station fill it up with 93.

runs good except for front rotors need to replace them and clutch slips abit .



its beening wash now , ill post pics when i get home

 

if yours is original paint, its going to look new.



mines clear coated, so it fell off, car is like white on top

 

yes it has original paint.

bout somebody put house paint over the hood, other than that looks good,its missing the driver door molding.

drove it home runs really good half way there realize the corner ligth not working.

oh well, ill get to the tomorow
