That crow bar thing is kinda funny, I have a HUGE dent in the grill of my Jeep for a very similar reason... by the way I still feel better that I got some whoopin done on it.

Most intake gaskets I have ever installed have been made to stand up to fuel... seeing as they tend to see a lot of it. You didn't use and RTV on it did you? I had a friend use RTV on his carb rebuild I and I had to soak the sucker in the chem tank for 4 days to get all the crap out.

Sorry you are having a bitch of time.. any other ideas guys???

yea i found out that gasoline can't eat gaskets. But i have narrowed the search down to where the vac leak is. It is below the upperintake manifold and behind the lower intake manifold. Somewhere near the oil injectors and the fuel injectors. It just doesn't make any sense i can really hear that **** sucking back there using the vac tube, which i found out is the best way to find vac leaks. but anyhow I have taken it apart again and can't find it!

- By the way what the hell is that vac nozzle that is sticking straight up from the lower intake manifold, it's inbetween the oil injectors on the rotor housing and the oil injectors on the intake manifold. It goes straight to the dynamic chamber. I want to elimnate all possiblities, im also considering getting rid of the OMP and the injectors and running premix. Has anyone here ever done that, or have exp w/ it?

i have had some input to the leak maybve coming from the fuel injector's lower grommet or seal. Does this sound like a possiblitiy? and that mystrious vac nozzle goes to the air bleeds...

FINALLY The damn vac leak is coming from the lower grommets! the primary fuel injectors aren't making a seal with their grommets, im in ordering them now from mazdatrix, i can't wait to burn rubber stupid ******* things who would have guessed it would be them a? i took off my clutch fan and its shroud, turned it on and sprayed some CC on the injectors and sure enough my vac gauge went sky high and my engine smoothed out. THANK GOD it has ended! im so happy, what a way to start the weekend! thxs everyone for their imput and morale support.

SCUMMY

jesus,

well i thought the air bleeds down in the fuel injector holes were the grommets, so i was makin a fool outa myself by asking ppl how do i take the grommets out. I couldn't tell they looked like seals. So i get around to takin one out. I look at it like WTF? this is no seal, lol do some research find out its an air bleed. well to sum the **** up my car hasn't been running for 5 months becuz i lost the old grommets when i sent my injectors into RC, they were still attached and when they came back i didn;t noticed and put them in w/o grommets. SO FINNALY, if anyone has ever had there FC done and can't figure it out, and evertually did u know how i feel just like that.... Ah...... thxs for all the help guys
