Have you checked your fuel filter? Seems to be a common affliction and kinda fits your discription. Also, more info on your set up?

is this a turbo or n/a? clean/add grounds, check injector clips, clean injectors.

check ecu.. injectors.. stock FPR.. fuel filter... ground..

It's an 87 n/a. The car is all stock. I've changed the ecu twice, maf twice, fuel pump twice, fuel filter,swapped injectors out of another car same thing. Also when cold revs to 2800 then comes down but dies. Once it warms up it's fine.

sounds like injectors to me or possibly ignition. if you gradually get into it what happends?

If you gradually get in to it it's fine. but if you punch it or hard acceleration it hits a wall at 4000rpm.Used noid light and volt meter getting power at secondary.

How are you confirming the noid light lights up on the secondaries?

Are you driving around with the noid lights???



How about the secondaries are clogged?

Try swapping the primaries and the secondary fuel injectors to see if this makes a difference?

today i disconnected the hose to the boost sensor,and hooked up a vacuum guage. I pumped it up to 20 inHg. and drove the car with the guage still hooked up and it took away the problem. does anyone know what the specs are to the boost sensor and vacuum pressure at the manifold. haynes doesn't tell you anything and neither does mitchell.
