i was told a 31/4 inch dowpipe is too big ? for the stock turbo motor is new street port someone told me to port the wastegate is it tru do i have any problem ? will i blow the motor ?

 

3" downpipe is big enough. Porting wastegate will not blow motor, it should prevent overboost problems that can happen when exhaust backpressure is redused. If you dont want overboost problems and dont want to port wastegate using 2 1/2" for at least a meter should prevent.

 

how hard is to port the wastegate or how is done ?wil a resonator work ?

 

With s4 and s5, turbo back cover needs to be removed. ( after removing exhaust housing) using a die grinder open waste gate hole as big as possible but flap door still needs to seal when shut or turbo will feel lazy.

 

you either want a restrictive exhaust, so that the wastegate can control the boost, or a really free flowing exhaust so the turbo cant make enough boost.
