There's a guy here in Daytona Beach that does automotive electrical stuff, and he rebuilt and upgraded my alt to 125 amps for $140. I now have to redo some grounds since they're worn and not grounding as well as they can.

how do you have a 2 foot radius around a car? 2 feet from the front and rear end, or 2 feet from the center? one would give you greater disctance on the sides, and a car with washer lights in the next lane might enter that radius, whereas the other would put the circumference right through the front and rear of the car. just an ****-retentive thought. (an ellipse might be a better choice)

I would say you are getting all you can from that Pyramid amp and those Memphis speakers, they arent high end car audio items, if people could buy a 800watt amp for $120 why would they spend $1000+ on one?

Pyramid is a bargain Brand... Try getting something better You will need a quality amp to supply good power to your subs, but you will still need to upgrade the electrical system.. I would recommend a Zapco amp but they are pretty expensive...

Hey Rob x-7 will the GM Powermaster 140amp bolt right up to the 13b.. Since I rewired my Repu the harness I am using from painless wiring is GM Style anyways..and I plan on having a system, power windows and a few more electronic gizmos..

The wiring is easy, ask 13bAce, I know he bought one and put it in over the summer then took it out when he took his vert apart, he can tell you the install procedure, I think it was pretty easy though if I remember correctly. Might just have to spin the position of the mounting holes ( clock it )

He even got one in chrome

Summit Racing has them, any local shop would have them too but Summit is probably cheaper, any rebuilders in your area?
