thats right. it wouldnt look bad if the whole car was that way, but it has to match so... how difficult will it be to get it re texturized?

Ah, thanks for clearing that up. I was wondering if it was just Maaco's crappy paint running or something. Stupid jerk I got the car from had it Maacoed. Good thing I bought it as a project car, or the sprayed rubber liners would really make me mad.

not hard at all

they scuff your paint

remove the molding

mask it off using 2 pieces of masking tape, one with a soft edge

shoot the rocker guard

take the first piece of masking off so there is no hard line





wait for it to set up a bit, then shoot the basecoat/clearcoat on it, or single stage.



It will take longer to mask the car off then to do the job.
