That's what I hear, but at least I will be starting out with a car w/out them. I can diagnose/fix problems as they arise instead of have 1 or more off the bat. It isnt that I want to get rid of my T2 I just do not have the time to keep messing with it trying to track down the problem. |
If you want to get rid of it for a cheap price, I will gladly do it for you. I am located in Southern Maryland, 30 mins south of DC.
Thanks Justin |
Well after having a friend of mine sit in the car and keep it running I opted for the best solution I cold come up with which was spray starting-fluid around the vacuum lines ect. and wait for the motor to rev to find where the leak may be. After doing this I found the problem. Popped the upper intake off, replaced every vacuum line i could not get to before, replaced the coolant line which resides under the intake, bought a new gasket for the intake, and put it all back together. Now I have a new problem.. when I try to start it, it floods itself out instantly.
I went from running w/out idle to wont even start.. nice. |
yea im down to buy it for "very very little"
especially snice now youve made it not run. kevin. |

Idles but very rough, so I noticed a vac line which somehow came off of the back of the intake.. figures. Decided to say screw it an take it down the road as it is. Even with the small current vacleak it has, it feels like youre driving an airplane w/out wings. |
