Well I hope more of us have a bit more "romance" in them for our cars than you. I don't take the RX-7 as a beater unless it is in horrible shape and even then I would do quite a bit to restore one if I had the monetary resources.

Read 'zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance: an inquiry into values' to get a better idea of what I mean by romatic. It's a good book regardless.





As you get more into the fc and find more of it's shortcomings you may begin to realize it's underlying form is not much different than any other 80's 'sports' car, besides it's unique power plant.
