Im defiently going to do this myself. After reading this thread and all the good feadback, it sounds like an excellent resource for some extra response from thee ol' Wankel. (I autocross and track quite often)

What would you block off the coolant passages with though?

I started doing this to my spair tb yesterday... can anyone post a couple pictures of it done and installed on the car just so i can get a general idea of what it should look like.. lol sry i just dont have much confidence in guessing..

hey whats up people ive got a question i was putting my alternator on my 87, i was tightening the bolt when it snapped and touched something in the process. it sparked when it did this now my car wont start, i checked the fuse box under the hood and the are fine........WHAT THE HELL DID I DO!?! if any one knows what i did please let me know thanks

Check the main fuse. If the charge wire on the alternator touches ground, it will blow the 80A main fuse bolted into the engine fuse panel. This is why its always a good idea to unhook the ground cable from the battery when doing any work around any major electronic components. Mechanics first creed you could say https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.gif
