okay i am doing a swap on my 87 se... jdm s4 t2, engine, trany, ecu...

okay i am basicly finished car runs but i need a knock box so the car is pulling timing due to it not being connected...

here is what i have jdm ecu, na harness, na map, jdm-mas, jdm injectors..

faze one: engine is in n/a chassy harness is conected to the engine, starter, cas....

you CAN use a auto drive shaft, BUT it is to short you will only catch about a half inch of the splines, so it will need to be extended about 2 inches.. i will need to get a tape and check exactly but around there.

faze two: okay i tried 2 things the n/a harness first and it didn't fit the injectors, so i tried to use use the jdm harness, everything plugs in but your missing two pluggs- little white one by the ecu(don't know what it is) and the wiper motor plugg. so i didn't want to mess with it so i whent back to the n/a harness.

this that will have to be done(you will need your jdm harness) un wire the resister box.. its that thing by the stock air box location, its big and silver and has an oval shaped yellowish plug. the onluy wire you need is the black/yellow stiped one, this is your injector power. ditch the resistor box but save it some were, they are handy. next take your jdm injector clips i cut them about 3 feet long, connect the one black/yellow striped wire to the one you just cut.

the others will match the colors, you don't need the brown wires cut them out of the way, keep the light green ones and connect them to the matching jdm injectors.

next is the knock box. trace down all the wires to it, its a little black plugg with 2 black/red dot wires, one black/white stripe wire, and the knock sensore wire it is shielded and has a grey cover... don't confuse it with the o2 sensor wire, it looks the same but the wire is black.

follow it the the dash harness and pull out the pin, remember were it goes.. go to your n/a harness connect the black wires to ones that match don't matter were. then connect that pin to the spot on the n/a harness it will be empty...

now your wired for the turbo motor!

take the time on this and make it look good, it will give you the chance to creat your own harness in a way make it nice...

now all you have left to do is get a knock box plugg it in and be set...

more to come....!

haha okay well i found the problem, had nothing to do with knock senser, and actualy you don't even need the knock box.. but it was my main engine ground, it was loose must of loosened it, or never tightened it but yeah so moving along..

so found out the front rotor is dead, no compresion. whats funny is the car starts at a turn of the key and idles fine?? ifrom what i could see the apex seals are still good but stuck, i noteced a slight increase in compression after running it for about 20 minuts so i am hoping it will clear its self up...
