In all honestly bro,

You'd be better off building a 20b 23 Tbucketthen a 67' Pony. Yeah it would be unique and different, but in terms of the custom car owner. IF your gonna do something out ragious go all outand build a custom. BUt the 67 would be a waste of money and time in my opinion. I also don't think it would be a big hit at any custom car show. That's just me though on the other hand....you can something sick and retarded in everyway like a TT AWD 67 mustang. ONce you found a tranny strong enough to handle that kinda power. Or gut out a skyline and hybrid some parts from it. Weight wouldn't even be a factor there..lol

Just my .02

You have to remember what the 20b has to haul around. The Cosmo is by no means a graduate of the Jenny Craig program. Weighing in at around 5300 lbs (if I remember right from the data label) putting it down into the lightweight mustang would not be so bad.

thats probably gross weight though if its from the data plate, meaning what it would weigh loaded with like 5 200lb guys, a full tank of gas, and trunk full of bricks.

Well just so you know bro there is about 2 or 3 differeint versions of the 351 motor. There's the 351 windsow, modified ,and cleveland. The modiied was a truck motor nothing special about it and it wasn't exactly a raceworthly block. Don't get me wrong it was capable but out of the factory it just appeard in turcks and some luxery cars for it's torque and reliabity. The cleveland and wondsors are your racing motors. consequintly you can convert a 302 into a smaller yet just as powerful version of a windsor. The cleveland makes the most power out of the whole pack. but the windsor appears in most hotrods cause well it's cheaper and easy to get ahold of. I know a friend of mine with a TT windor making about 1200 HP and running 8's. Of course he has done alot sense that one and only run because the track banded him cause of numerous safety violations. Last time I talked to him he has slapped on a 300 shot of nitrous and bigger turbos and intercooler. If you do consider going turbo 351 windsor well I am the man to talk to.
