It's very crudely made. Looks like they cut it with a plasma cutter. THe exhaust holes are oblong, and the flange is too long (it hits the stock mounting flange). I called RB and they said it's supposed to be like that. I would have to get it machined to work right. Have you had a similar experience with this product? Thanks.

I've seen them come through my shop they are def. torch cut for sure. It will work. I personally would make them thicker.

i dont know about the 20b flanges but i have 2 13b flanges from mazdatrix/racingbeat and have no problems with them at all and the exhaust ports are about 1/4 larger then the sleeve so there isnt a problem at all.

maybe it was just a **** part that got snuck through the inspection at rb and they are thinkin it was a good one you had, ever think of that? just wondering.

Yes, they are made poorly. I wasn't very happy with mine. A bit of file work made the studs holes useable.

I have 20B flanges to sell if any one is interested. LASER CUT FOR A PERFECT FIT! The shape is an exact duplicate of the stock turbo exhaust gasket drawn by me several times on Autocad until i got it perfect. The holes are for fitting 2.25" tubing! These flanges are made from 304 Stainless steel 3/8" thick. Stainless is much stronger than mild steel and it is much better to weld stainless pipe to a stainless flange!

Gauranteed perfect fittment with no filing at all!

email me if you are interested!

rich@auto-illusions.com

$125 each. I have 10 of them cut right now!

They told me it's supposed to be like that!!!!!!!

It sucks that they sell a flange that is supposed to fit a 20b, but the buyer has to make it work right.

Why not use FD flanges?

Indeed, I drawn mine myself, quite easy, but I think I made the holes for the pipes a bit to big, but yeah, we'll see if it's finished..

I wouldn't pay any more than $80 for something that will take an hour's labour at most with a lasercutter.
