Earlier this week I was standing about 20' or so back from the exhaust and could feel a very strong breeze from it when it was revved. The exhaust pulses are VERY strong. And does it like to rev. Whipcrack quick throttle response is one way to describe it. This bitch is LOUD! But in a good way. It sounds sooooo much better than a peripheral ported 13B. 20B's have a nice sound to them.
About five years back I picked up a J's Tipo (issue #90) from the Kinokuniya bookstore in the downtown Seattle Uwajimaya. Damn, those places freakin' overprice everything. Anyways.....this magazine was a rotary special issue. I had no choice but to get it! They had this car in it along with several others. I thought this car was the perfect FC. Stripped and pissed off with a peripheral ported 20B sporting some sports injection. I'll tell you what....it don't get no better than that. Fast forward to last Thursday. I go to help Dragon and Igy tow this car back to the garage. Well, mostly to check out this car he was talking about. The second I saw under the hood I knew IMMEDIATELY that this was my dream FC. It's a small world.

Update...
I welded in some door bars and a cross bar at the bottom of the hoop and welded it to the tranny tunnel... should stiffen things up a little more and give me a nice handle when I need to roll out of the bucket seats. Car went in to the body shop next to our shop today... The car is going to be 4" wider in the rear and 2 1/2" wider in the front. I also have the GT2000 bumper in the mail shortly from RotoryExtreme and threw a Border Racing hood on it. It's getting painted inside and out along with the engine compartment. While it's in for a face lift I'll be redoing the dash and once I get the car back I'll fix the wiring nightmare I found under the dash when I took it all out... The FRP fenders weigh about 1/2 of what the stock ones weighed and the flush mt headlights should weigh considerably less than the bowling ball weight pop up lights. The hood also weighed quite a bit less than the one I took off. All in all I'd guess I dropped about 20-30 lbs off the front end of the car, most of it in front of the tires. Damn I want to drive this thing, but I'm going to wait until I get it all put together before I go out and play...
