[quote name='turborotor' date='Oct 13 2003, 08:55 PM'] NO need, just make your own custom made eshaft like hitman did.

http://www.hitman.hm/rx7.htm

The hitman, from Aussie, has made him self a 3 rotor 13b engine. Check out the link. A lot of custom work, one of a kind engine.

The Hitman's e-shaft is a production item from Precision Engineering in New Zealand. They have custom shafts for 2, 3, and 4 rotor engines based on 13B's, as well as a replacement for the stock 20B shaft.

How would you go about making a 4 rotor 13B based engine beside the e-shaft?Got a link to thier site?I know hitman modified a 13b section to throw a stationary gear on it but wouldn't you need to do that twice on a 4 rotor setup?Need a link people.

Yeah, you would. The Scoot 4 rotor 12A is like that. A gear in at least two intermediate plates, if not all three. It would survive high revs with that many bearings, with only a little extra drag from the increased surface area.

I think an N/A 3 rotor w/ high compression would be fabulous... Jesus Pedilla had one in his 1st gen. until it was banned in the N/A class...I think he ran low 10's or high 9's too yaaaaa!

So, yes it can be done and I think its a cool "reliable" idea for the road course....Imagine the sound that would make.

Anyone see Jesus Pedilla run? Well now he has 2 rotor N/A running 10's...I think thats the most amazing rotary example for hp I ever heard. Most of us with larger single turbo's may never see that.

Do you have a website or contact info for Precision? I have to pull apart my 20B and would rather have a billet 1 piece e-shaft from the beginning than the stock 2 piece. Don't know how much $ this is going to be though...

They don't have a website as far as I know, but their phone number is +64 94153264.

Their shafts are still two piece (they have to be or you couldn't assemble the motor), and they do have a service for putting the extra bearing in the center plates.

If you are gonna take the time and spend the money why build a 3 rotor when 4 would be soooooo much cooler!
