Have to sell my 20B Vert
#1
Hey Guys, I hate to do this but I have no other choice. I have to sell my baby. As some of you know I'm in the Army and currently serving in Iraq. I'm scheduled to redeploy in December and then move to Alaska in Feb or March. Sucks huh. Anyway, I'm driving up there and I can't ship my car or tow it. Plus I would only get to use it maybe 3 months out of the year anyway, and there is no point to leaving it in storage in Florida. So alas, I must sell it .
I've put a lot of blood, sweat, tears and money into this thing and its pretty much a one of a kind car. I haven't seen or heard of any other 3 rotor single turbo convertibles. If there are any they are few and far between. So here is your chance to own a drivable 3 rotor convertible capable of making 800HP. I have put only 500 or so miles on the rebuilt engine only because I've been deployed. So your getting a pretty much new engine, turbo, etc. Here is the link to the build up https://www.nopistons.com/forums/index.php?...c=33571&hl=vert. Lets get to what the car has:
3 Rotor engine fully rebuilt (pinned, polished, w 3mm seals)
Turbonetics T72 turbo brand new
Custom full stainless steel exhaust manifold with 3" stainless exhaust
Turbonetics aluminum huge intercooler with all aluminum piping and expensive seals and clamps
Turbo II drive train
Microtech LX12 fully installed with drivable tuning
Powdercoated Intake manifolds
Turbo XS Blow off valve up to 30 psi
HKS GT wastegate (the big one!)
AFCO Aluminum Radiator w 2 electric fans
Short Throw Shifter
17" Wheels (needs new tires at the moment)
New Paint
91 Bumpers and moldings
91 car electrical harness
16 gallon fuel cell with areomotive A1000 pump and -10 braided lines
1680 cc secondary inj, stock primary custom fuel rail, aremotive pressure regulator
Black interior
Manual steering rack
Whew! and much more
Well like I said I have to sell it. I'm also going to sell a 91 coupe car that is pretty much stripped with it or without (Car has a clear title). The coupe is white and has a TII hood in perfect shape sunroof in good condition, all the glass and doors.
Now lets get to the bottom line. With the 91 coupe and all the parts I will sell the 3 rotor vert for $19,500. Or you can buy just the 3 rotor vert for $18,500. Thats a sweet deal for a pretty rare car and most everyone should know it. Thats a firm price if I can't get what I'm looking for I'll just put it in storage and one day it will be worth a fortune. Please e-mail me at sean.m.penaranda@us.army.mil for any questions. The car is in storage right now till I get back to the states so any test drives will have to be done then. But I can assure anyone that this car will be in great condition. The top needs to be redone and I was planning on redoing the fuel cell with a custom aluminum one. Other than that and some tweaking of the ecu once the engine is fully broken in this car is ready to go.
Thanks,
Sean (UsfDr)

Damn, Sean, that sucks! I just went through a period where I almost sold my 20B10AE. Hopefully, you'll manage to either hang on to it or build another one later on.
FWIW, your asking price is a steal. Kind of makes me wish I had the extra money.

$18,500 is the as is price. Price for a new top installed is about $700 - $1000. If I do any more work to it I will keep it. First one to come up with the cash or put down a deposit gets it. I could arrange a test drive if needed but only for serious buyers only. This car is priced to sell quick so I thought I would post it here first before putting it on other web pages.

Grey GT: Yeah Samuels has a nicely done stock twin turbo vert. My car is the only single turbo conversion I've seen done. There is alot more work that goes into a single turbo conversion especialy on a 3 rotor. If anyone knows of any other single trubo, 3 rotor verts please post a link on this site.
I'm stationed in Iskandariyah its about 75 mins south of Baghdad, but I've been pretty much been everywhere in country for at least a day or two.
