i got a big headache from reading this. I would get it anyways. Most of us hook up our cars and never do anything professional. SO why not if u got the dollars then spend em iiight :bigok:

 

i have read through this thread and you people lost track of trying to help this guy out with what motor to put into his Ultima GTR. I also read that somebody's friend built a 350 to 383 stroker with 420 hp for 20,000 dollars....that is ******* absurd...i could build mkoch1 a aluminum, yates head, flat crank, pushrod ford that makes about 630hp with a mild cam, and being a flat crank motor it will sound like a cosworth F1 V8. for only a little more than a ******* iron block 383 with 420 hp...which is pathetic considering that my shop builds 283 chevy's that make on average 400-570 hp with 18 degree heads





my advice is that a chevy will be the best way to go with that car.It was designed for it and there will be no loss of respect from me.

 

Its street legal.Just don't know how safe it is.With a LT1 in it its supposed to still be fairly well balanced.I wonder if a rotary would increase or decrease handling?
