hey just wanna know if the renesis rotors can be used in the 3 rotor? i seen them use it in a stock 3rd gen and got 22hp gain

Yes there are a couple already out there I believe.

No.

I'd like to see PROOF that is made 22hp on a "stock 3rd gen"???

i dont find 22hp too farfetched...... considering 1psi of boost can sometimes yeild 20hp.... so an 11% increase in compression ratio should make more right?

i wonder what modifications need to be done to the rotors so they can be used for a peripheral exhaust 13b. im sure there are slight variences on the renesis rotor for them to work on the sideported exhaust

some food for thought

If you were going turbo, I'd think you would want to machine the apex seal groves to accept a stock 3rd gen 2mm seal. The rx8 seals are shorter, and are thus weaker.

Aren't Renny rotors high-comp though? Wouldn't that make turboing a bit harder?

high compression will make the turbo spool faster

Il RX8 lI 09-20-2005 08:29 PM

But do they allow as much air to be forced in as lower comp rotors?

FikseRxSeven 09-20-2005 09:07 PM

well.... save volume.. the engine is still called 13b isnt it?
