Unfortunately I need to part with a long-term project I have been working on. All parts listed below have 900 miles on them. This is installed in an FC and the motor brackets come with it for an easy drop in.

20B Package

1 – New complete OEM seal kit with Mazda 1 piece 2mm apex seals

2 – New FD Front rotor housings (all 3). Front used vs. rear to avoid additional emissions ports, front housings do not have any.

3 – New Iron housings (both center segments)

4 – All 4 iron housings faces lapped and brought to close tolerance

5 – All 4 iron housings polished to a 5 RA smoothness finish (near mirror)

6 – New Series 5 FC high compression (9.7:1) rotors (all 3)

7 – Ceramic coating of water pump

8 – Polished throttle body, upper and lower intake manifolds.

9 – New 550 cc primary and 1600 cc secondary fuel injectors

10 – Custom fuel rails (both primary/secondary)

11 – Custom sleeved fuel injector fittings

12 – Custom polished thermostat housing with dual thermostats (160 & 185 deg F) and temperature sensors (x2)

13 – Large street port

14 – Chromium Nitriding to all housings (much greater wear resistance than OEM nitriding)

15 – All emissions ports welded closed (no plugs used)

16 – OMP removed and sealed shut with custom plate

17 – Pulleys are “wide” version for larger belt

18 – Custom alternator tensioner bracket and idler pulley

19 – Throttle body has “TB Mod” done to it (primary butterflies removed, all holes welded shut)

20 – Throttle body TPS (throttle position sensor) has custom boss to use standard GM 3.5L engine TPS. This was done because every time I tried to use a stock Mazda TPS it was bad and the only place to get them is Japan, and it takes at least 2 months to get them. GM parts are cheap and plentiful.

21 – 2 Bar MAP sensor

22 – Lightweight steel flywheel (18 pounds vs. stock 24)

23 – ACT Extreme clutch and 6 – puck pressure disc (900 miles)

24 – Custom 20B motor mount brackets and assembly bolt kit (powder coated gray)

25 – All motor components cryogenically treated

26 – Deburring of internal coolant/oil passages

27 – Custom alternator bracket and adjustment tensioning arm

28 - FD rotor oil control rings

Other accessories included;

1 – Turbonetics T-76 turbo (0.72 compressor P-trim and 1.32 turbine A/R). Turbo has been ceramic coated both compressor and turbine housings. Includes 0.085” oil restrictor pellet

2 – HKS 60mm Racing wastegate. Lower body has been ceramic coated to prevent heat soak. Spring rating is 12 PSI

3 – Custom 20B exhaust manifold with ceramic coating and welded bung for EGT probe in exhaust runner for individual rotor exhaust port temperature indication

4 – A’pexi AVC-R computerized boost controller. Comes with all wiring, sensor, vacuum tubing. Only used for 20B project

5 – Intake polished manifold piping from TB to FMIC. Includes A’pexi dual chamber BOV.

6 – 89-91 TII starter (with 5000 miles)

I'm also willing to sell the EMS with this package, which is an Electromotive TEC 1. It comes with an external crank trigger wheel, coil packs, etc, and I will include the current fuel/ignition map. I've got $3300 for the whole system and would be willing to include it with the motor for a little less than half, $1500.

One issue that I want to address is there is an oil smoking issue that I've had from the beginning. After some R&D have come to the conclusion that it's due to the chromium nitriding coating applied to all rotor and iron housings. It appears that it is creating a longer break in period as other than this, the engine runs very well. Just recently it was given a base map by Steve Kan and made 410 rwhp at 8 psi with plenty of room for more boost, more tuning. We had to stop, however, as I ran into an unrelated electrical issue, otherwise the plan was to go to 15 psi on the dyno. The motor was built to make 600-700 HP as well.

I've got about 30K into this setup with all the custom work, etc, and was looking to get half or 15K for everything listed. If you want the EMS with it, the price would be $16,500. This would be an excellent opportunity for anyone going to do this conversion as most of it is already done for you.

I have a couple hundred pictures available during the entire build as I wanted to thoroughly document it for insurance purposes, for car shows, etc. I will post some on here but if you want anything specific, please email me at ckuehn8171@charter.net and I'd be happy to send you whatever you like.

I'm going to start pulling the motor this week so it can get prepped on the pallet for shipping. Willing to negotiate on the EMS so I can leave it all connected and ready for you to drop in and start it up. It's got a good base map and is ready to run.

Pricing update!

Looking to get $10,500 shipped for the long block (includes polished intake manifolds, flywheel, polished TB with TB mod, GM TPS adaptor (you don't need to use junk Mazda TPS and it uses a standard GM V6 TPS which are plentiful and cheap), fuel injectors (550 primary and 1600 seconday), ceramic coated water pump). Does not include clutch, turbo, exhaust manifold.

Has all new rotor housings, rotors, both center irons are new, all irons have been lapped and all housings chromium nitride coated inside and out. New seal kit (rings and metal seals) and large street port. All the aluminum has been polished and the water pump and front cover have both been ceramic coated as well to help prevent heat soak.

Would like to sell the EMS with it and it is already wired and ready to go, just hook up the connections. EMS alone is $3300 with the crank trigger wheel. Also includes the coil packs, spark plug wires, and ceramic spark plug wire boots. Comes with fuel/ignition map as well that I will email you so you can plug & play. Price with the long block is $12K shipped and insured. Paypal is 3% extra.

Open to offers on parts, but will not disassemble the engine. I do not have the ability to remove the flywheel so if you want the short block, it will have to come with it.

Stuff that can be sold separately;

- motor mounts

- turbo, WG, BOV

- Long/short block

- Clutch

- TEC 1 EMS with coil packs, trigger wheel, already wired and ready to go for a 20B. Comes with tuned fuel/ign map

- Polished intake manifold/TB set

- Fuel injectors (3-550cc, 3-1600cc), prefer selling sets of 3

- TII starter

All I can think of for the moment.

Only thing gone at the moment is the exhaust manifold, which would only work for FC's anyhow. This would still be a perfect setup for an FD.

Also willing to take out parts of the "package" that you don't want and drop the price accordingly.

New price for "package" is $14,500 shipped

Try putting it on ebay, you will get more responses on there than here.
