Pic of the Stock spindle vs. Pettit's.

The Pettit subframe lowers the rack about 3/4". as you can see the spindles are modified to eliminate bump steer by lowering the arm the same ammount. The spindles also requite 17" or lager rims, due to the lower positioning of the tie-rod mount.

I have not dropped in my motor yet, I'm STILL waiting on my Clutch (Tilton twin disk).

you have to cut something, either the subframe or the firewall on the fd.

*cries* are you shitting me?! Why?!

Thats why i was selling my TII, to buy a 3rd gen and do a 20b swap. I really havent read too much on doing 20b swaps in 3rd gens. I know like 99% of what im going to need to do it to a 2nd gen though.

So whats so hard about it? Why would you have to cut the sub frame or the firewall?

the rack and pinion is in the mother fucken way.. It actually requires a **** load of fabrication and work to do it right.. most shops in the states charge around 30k+ to do the swap...
