Question

after reading the MPG thread i threw some numbers together and realised that between gas, maintenance, insurance and a few other things, (not including major repairs) my car costs me just over 3000 a year to keep on the road.

where are u located and what are the numbers like for some of you guys??

i dont have a long commute, and i dont do much maintenance, and i'm old so insurance is not too bad, so it costs me about $2000 a year give or take

Well I have about 5500 into mine and I haven't even driven it yet So if you calculate it out about 2500/year so far. I'm sure when I get it on the road it will be a hell of a lot more than 2500/ year but it will be worth it

I lost track along time ago. Between the engine swaps, paint jobs and all the other go fast goodies in 11 years, I hate to think about it. At my current job, I commute about 75-100 miles round trip daily. Still got more to go. :smirk: Spend on!

He was asking how much it would cost to run the car not how much you have in it at this time.I spend about $700 for 6 months and gas I can't tell because I cruise it up alot with it.My car has $6000 cdn into it now before I give the suspension an overhall.Setzep: Yours and Directfreaks cars will kill all.Makes me think twice about not doing a Turbo swap.Oh well at least it will be reliable when it hits the streets again in april. Hondas beware. :smirk:
