i put a good running 12a in my 85 and before i installed it i put atf in it. well it started up. lots of smoke came out then it died after 10 seconds. wont start. i even changed the plugs because i figured the other ones might be fouled. sounded good when it started though. please help. how do i check for fuel;.

 

ok my car isnt getting any fuel to the carb. its a 1985 gs. the engine came out of a 1984gs and ran perfect in the other car. does my 85 have an electric fuel pump and if so which connector did i not hook up or hook up wrong. if the fuel pump is not electric than what did i do wrong. thanks guys
