Wide Body Kit

im thinking about putting the wide body kit on my 1985 gsl se 7 but idk how big of rims i would hafta get to make it look good my car would get perfect for the kit cuz i hafta get a new front end any ways cuz it was in a wreck and the front end is all smashed i also need a hood so if anyone knows where to get a hood could ya tell me please

The mariah site tells you how wide to run to look right with it.Remember you'll need that much more hp to push it around at speed.Thats why I think its still in the air about the CP kit. Try mariahs site and see what they recomend the site is listed in the site thread thats pinned at the top.

Prolly need 16x10's in the rear then.The CP kit doesn't seem as wide as a IMASA kit.

thanks how much more power would i need to push it as fast as the cp body kit do any of you have pics of the cp ive never seen it and would love to take a look and whats the mariah site ? thanks

BTW a widebody kit will take away 30hp or more depending on how wide it is.Just because the car works harder to move the wheels and deflect air off the new stance it has.You'll need a extra 30hp just to make up the difference of going widebody with those huge wheels.

i want a body kit on my 85 gsl se but i dont want to lose power i want to lose weight and add style and power do you guys know any kits

I'm thinking of the Mazdatrix/Erebuni kit myself.I think its the best looking one on the FB body other than the Japanese ARF kits.Heres Viperx7 car with the kit I want on it.Notice the shaved sidemarkers.My 83 is in the middle of shaving them and the badges as well.I can wait to do it to the 82 after I get that thing running.He modified the front to accept round fogs which I think look way better than the square ones.
