I recieved my Enki rims with 215x45x16 tires. They (Discount Tire) insisted the offset was 34 and of course they hit the springs. I should have known when we did not agree on the stock tire size for a SE.

From the search of this forum I gather that the offset should be 40mm. Will 215x45x16 still fit?

40mm is what most ppl go for. Mine are 35 mm, w/ 205/40/16 tires, that clear the springs w/ like 3-5 mm of space.

I used 6mm of spacers before the tire would clear the spring. With a 34mm offset the tires will be close to the finder lip.

I am going to drop back to a 15x6.5 rim and a 205x50x15 to cure my clearance problems.

With the 16x7 using a 215x45x16 tire, which measures out to 9+inches wide is the problem, dropping back to a 6.5 rim with 205x15 should pull me 6 to 9 mm away from the spring. Lets hope anyway. Now lets see how receptive Discount tires will be.
