Wheels
#1
I am looking for new wheels but not getting very far. I was going to go with 17s do to the fact you can get a good package deal. but I just called wheelmax and they said the offset was differnet so they had no wheels that would fit my FB. So am i screwed out of getting the wheels I want or can you guys help me out. I know there is a few people in here that have 17s and bigger so I know it can be done. Thanks

This is exactly what I'm talking about.
I knew I wasn't crazy. It's "f"ing hard to find the right 15-16inch wheel for the early RX-7's nver mind 17inch. I'd be happy if I can find a nice set of 15in with the right offset to fit the car right.
We can't be the only ones with this problem- what's up guy's let us know your experience in this matter.

About the only way that I know of to get some 17"s is that if you have an SE suspension. The non-SE pattern is just not available in very many wheels. Unless you know a way of getting some made, the biggest you'll find is 15". I've got ROH Snypers in 15x7. I got them thru Group A wheels a few years ago. Not sure if they still carry them. You can also check Panasport. I think they make a 15. Or if you can find a connection in Australia. I think there are a few companies down there that make non-SE wheels.
